New Zealand Skilled Migration

Process Overview

Helpful Insights

Qualifications Not Recognized
- If claiming points for qualifications, they must be either on the List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment or assessed by NZQA.

Non-Comparable Work Experience
- Work experience must be in the same field as your qualification and job or job offer. Without a job or job offer, the experience must be in a comparable labor market, listed on the Long Term Skill Shortage List, or with a multinational company.

Unmet Bonus Point Requirements
- To earn bonus points for work experience, you must meet the stringent criteria outlined in the Long Term Skill Shortage List.
