Border Link Talent Visa
You can apply for a Border Link Talent visa to work in the UK if you are an established or emerging leader in one of the following fields:
- Academia or research
- Arts and culture
- Digital technology
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Before Applying for a Visa
Typically, you can only apply for a Border Link Talent visa after successfully securing an endorsement, which proves your leadership or potential in your field.
However, if you have won an eligible award, you can apply for the visa without an endorsement. Check which awards qualify.

Duration of Stay
You can live and work in the UK for up to 5 years at a time.
Extending Your Stay
There is no limit on the total time you can stay in the UK, but you must renew your visa when it expires. Each renewal can be from 1 to 5 years, depending on your preference.
You may be eligible for indefinite leave to remain, allowing you to settle in the UK after 3 or 5 years, depending on your field and application method. This grants you the right to live, work, study indefinitely, and apply for benefits if eligible.
